Quick Start

  1. Load Tabbal on a MIDI or instrument track in your DAW.
  2. Route Tabbal’s MIDI output to a drum instrument (sampler, drum machine, etc.) — Tabbal generates MIDI, not audio.
  3. Click cells in the grid to activate them — each cell triggers the row’s assigned MIDI clip at that beat position.
  4. Press play in your DAW. You’ll see the playhead move across the grid and hear your drum instrument respond to the MIDI clips.
  5. Adjust velocity by long-pressing a cell and dragging vertically.
  6. Try different clips using the clip selector dropdown on each row.
